At The Red Barn Goofy Newfy Rescue, every dog receives comprehensive veterinary care before being placed for adoption. We believe in full transparency and responsible placement, which starts with proper medical preparation.
Each dog receives age-appropriate and medically necessary care, including:
- Spay or neuter (age appropriate)
- DHLPP vaccine (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
- Rabies vaccine
- Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine
- Lyme vaccine
- 4DX testing (Heartworm & tick-borne disease screening)
- Fecal float testing
- Deworming
- Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
- Dental care as needed
- Microchipping
- Professional grooming
